Peer based means people who have first-hand experience with substance abuse and recovery, have been professionally trained to meet 1 on 1 with those who are in search of a life away from drugs and alcohol. This includes friends and family members who have been impacted by addiction. Our support network and array of resources are available to everyone involved.
We accomplish this by working as a direct intermediary between those with substance abuse and the local police departments in the event of a substance related arrest, or as a stand alone resource in scenarios that don’t involve the police. In addition to initiating recovery, we work directly with treatment centers, and provide follow-up communication to ensure a seamless path to long-term health and wellness.
